On Wednesday July 8th at Olives Kitchen, Bury VCFA was delighted to welcome VCSE organisations from across the borough to the relaunch of the Children, Young People and Families (CYPF) Forum (name a work in progress).
The event brought together organisations that are passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and families, providing an opportunity to reconnect, build new relationships and help shape the future of the forum.
During the session, attendees shared their hopes for the network and identified key priorities for the future. There was strong support for the forum to act as a collective voice for the sector, ensuring that the needs and experiences of children, young people and families in Bury are represented in local decision making and strategy development.
Participants also highlighted the importance of information sharing, networking and collaboration and creating a space where organisations can share updates raise challenges and work together on solutions.
The enthusiasm and commitment in the room demonstrated a shared ambition to strengthen support for children, young people and families across Bury.
We would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed their ideas. We look forward to building this network together and welcoming even more organisations to future sessions.
