Role Description
Volunteer Relief Mini bus driver
Type of Activity: Ad-hoc, Ongoing, Suitable for individuals to apply, In person volunteering
Suitability: Suitable for 18 year olds and over
Time commitment
As and when cover is required for annual leave and any sickness cover.
Availability: Ad-Hoc

Role Location: Throughout the Borough of Bury and at the Jubilee Centre.
Ward: Boroughwide
Benefit to the volunteer
The driver will be given training on handling people and a training session on how to use the tail gate on the mini bus. References will be taken and a DBS check will be undertaken.
You will receive
Induction and training, Regular support supervision, Volunteer Handbook, Volunteer policy
Volunteers are asked to complete or provide: Application form, ID Check, Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, Reference(s), Informal discussion (may include an interview)
Activities: Befriending, Buddying and Mentoring, Driving (must have full licence)
Skills: UK Driving Licence
