Grants Administrator Volunteer

Role Description

We are looking for a volunteer to support our Grants Team with a range of administrative and data entry tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience, build confidence, and develop valuable office-based skills.
You will be supported and mentored by our Grants Officer throughout your volunteering journey.
Main Duties
• Monitor the grants email inbox for new enquiries and applications
• Check incoming grant application forms
• Record application details on our CIVI CRM system
• Update application records accurately
• Approve or decline applications on the system following guidance
• Support the smooth administration of Bury VCFA grant programmes
Skills and Experience
Full training will be provided. However, this role would particularly suit someone who:
• Has good attention to detail
• Is comfortable using computers and email
• Has administration or data entry experience
• Has good communication skills
• Can work independently and as part of a team

Time commitment

3-7 hours per week Days and times to be agreed. Flexible volunteering during standard Monday to Friday office hours.
