Mealtime Companion

Role Description

As a volunteer mealtime companion at Heathlands village, you will help to create a positive dining experience for residents by offering conversation, encouragement and company during breakfast, lunch or dinner. You can also be trained to help with feeding residents under staff guidance. This role is ideal for someone patient, reliable and who enjoys spending time with older people, many living with dementia, while respecting their dignity and choices. The role does not involve personal care or clinical support.

1 hour per week - flexible
