Volunteer at Prestwich Arts Festival 2026!
18–20 September 2026
Do you love arts, creativity and community? Join our friendly volunteer team and help make Prestwich Arts Festival 2026 an unforgettable weekend!
Prestwich Arts Festival is proudly run by volunteers, and we'd love you to be part of bringing the festival to life. Whether you can spare a few hours or the whole weekend, your support will make a real difference.
Volunteer Roles
No previous experience is needed – just enthusiasm, reliability and a friendly attitude! Tasks may include:
-Helping with event set-up and pack-down at festival venues
-Welcoming visitors and registering/signing in attendees
-Supporting artists, performers and workshop leaders during events
-Assisting at the Makers Market, helping traders and visitors
-Handing out festival programmes and flyers around Prestwich
-Providing information and helping audiences find their way
-General stewarding and ensuring events run smoothly
-Supporting our community art trail, Follow Your Art, by helping install displays, assisting participating artists and encouraging visitors to explore the trail
-Pitching in with other general festival duties as part of our volunteer team
