Role Description

We are recruiting face to face Befriending Volunteers for our adult focussed autism befriending service in Bury and Bolton. All volunteers will receive training, ongoing support and out of pocket expenses. In recognition of our services to improve the lives of families impacted by autism, in June 2020 BAAS received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the MBE of voluntary organisations. If you have a passion for helping others and have a free morning or afternoon to meet an autistic adult in the community, please get in touch, to find out more. We have vacancies for our volunteer team on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Type of Activity: Ongoing, Suitable for individuals to apply, In person volunteering

Suitability: Suitable for 18 year olds and over

Time commitment

Two hours a week

Availability: Tuesday Morning, Tuesday Afternoon, Wednesday Morning, Wednesday Afternoon
