Grow food with Incredible Edible Prestwich & District

Are you passionate about your local community and love the idea of getting your hands dirty (or just helping out behind the scenes)? Incredible Edible Prestwich & District is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us cultivate a greener, more connected community across Prestwich, Whitefield, and Radcliffe!

We're a friendly, community-focused food-growing group, and we believe everyone can make a difference. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or have never touched a trowel, we welcome you!
What You'll Do:
• Get Hands-On: Join our regular gardening sessions, typically lasting just one to two hours, and help us tend to our vibrant community growing sites.
• Lend a Hand with Management: Prefer to help with planning, organizing, or communications? We also need volunteers to assist with the smooth running of our group.

• Choose Your Location: With numerous sites across the area, you can pick the one that's most convenient for you.
• Plan Ahead: We publish our gardening session dates in advance, so you can easily fit volunteering into your schedule.

Suitability: Suitable for 16 and 17 year olds, Suitable for 18 year olds and over

Time commitment

You choose the time you want to put in. Sessions are a minimum of 1hour.
