Help Shape the Future of Bury’s VCSE Sector – State of the Sector Research

The State of the Sector is a major research project led by Greater Manchester’s Local Infrastructure Organisations in partnership with Nottingham Trent University. It maps the size, diversity, and contribution of our sector, showing the real difference your organisation makes. Bury-based VCSE groups and organisations are being invited to share their insights, helping to shape local and regional policy and funding decisions that will influence our communities for years to come.

This is the first time in five years that this important research has been carried out, and much has changed across our local voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector. Your voice is vital to ensure Bury’s story is heard. Without it, the picture of our borough is incomplete.

The survey launches in January, and we’re inviting all Bury-based VCSE organisations, large and small, to take part. Every organisation that participates will receive an Individualised Insights Report, showing how your work compares with others across Greater Manchester while highlighting the unique strengths and challenges within Bury.

By contributing, you’re helping to build the evidence that will directly influence local policy, funding decisions, and support for VCSE organisations in Bury. This is your chance to make sure the needs of our borough are recognised and addressed for years to come.

Please look out for further information on how to take part in the new year.
