AI Made Simple: A Friendly Introduction to AI for Community Organisations

This beginner-friendly session will introduce you to AI in a practical and accessible way, helping you understand what it is, how it works, and how it can support your organisation's day-to-day activities.

You don't need any technical experience. We'll use plain language, real-life examples, and hands-on activities to help you build confidence in using AI tools effectively and responsibly.

During this workshop, we'll explore:

• Practical ways AI can support voluntary and community organisations
• How to write effective prompts to get better results from AI tools
• The benefits and limitations of AI

This session is for staff, volunteers, trustees and leaders from organisations working within the Bury voluntary, community and faith sector, including charities, community groups, social enterprises and faith organisations.
